Job Responsibility

Supervises and is responsible for the work of subordinate law enforcement officers, security officers, and other civilian staff
Assists in the overall administration of an institution security program
Explains and enforces city and State laws and ordinances
Prepares or supervises the preparation of daily and special reports of security activities
Oversees and/or assists with management of parking enforcement program, CLERY reporting requirements, and department's Training Program in compliance with POST
Manages in-house training program and chairs hiring committees for all police department positions
Plans and schedules police staffing for athletic and special events
Assists with payroll management
Provides critical safety training such as building evacuation team training and active shooter response training
Attends POST approved training sessions
