Job Description:

There is an opportunity for a Grade 2 podiatrist to join the team at Western Health. Join the team and have the chance to work in a brand new, state of the art hospital. The Podiatrists at Western Health deliver acute, subacute and community-based care to patients with the aim of optimising health outcomes. The role is full time and ongoing.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivery of care in the admitted and outpatient setting
  • Collaborate with other health professionals within an established interdisciplinary care setting
  • Contribute to Podiatry and Diabetes Foot Service team goals
  • Provision of timely and appropriate podiatry services to inpatients and outpatients across all campuses of Western Health

Requirements:

  • Recognised degree or equivalent in Podiatry
  • Professional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and electronic communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of and participation in continuous quality improvement processes
  • Commitment to continuing professional development
  • Experience in the acute or subacute health care setting
