This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, well organised and motivated podiatrist to join our team. We deliver patient care in a variety of clinical and community settings with a caseload focusing on the medically at risk and/or those with a high podiatric need. We are committed to CPD and promoting evidence-based practice and a high standard of care throughout the service.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver quality programs of podiatric care to patients who have an assessed need
Provide treatment at a variety of sites including a patients home, clinics, hospitals & elsewhere
Be involved in nail surgery sessions, high risk clinics
Have the opportunity to rotate through the foot protection team and musculoskeletal clinics
Work alongside experienced podiatrists
Requirements:
Current UK professional registration
In-depth knowledge of current evidence-based practice
Excellent communication skills
Team working skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
Assessment and planning of individual patient care
Work in a variety of clinical and community settings
Work as a lone practitioner in some cases
Day to day operational management of a specific clinic location
Acting as a source of advice to patients, carers, GPs & other Health Care Professionals
Nice to have:
Post graduate education
Domiciliary care provision
Experience in the provision of high-risk treatments & advanced biomechanical assessments
2 years relevant post graduate experience
A drive to improve your skills and expand your expertise
