We are seeking an experienced systems engineer with strong technical depth in PNT integration and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to develop innovative, mission-focused solutions to complex system challenges. Job Responsibility:

  • Design and integrate PNT solutions into platform architectures using MBSE methodologies
  • Develop and manage system requirements throughout the lifecycle, ensuring traceability, verification, and compliance with program objectives
  • Provide expertise in GPS/GNSS, Assured PNT (APNT), alternative navigation methods, and resilient timing solutions
  • Apply mission engineering principles to optimize PNT performance across diverse platforms and operational environments
  • Develop PACE (Primary, Alternate, Contingency, Emergency) plans to support resilient PNT architectures
  • Collaborate with mission engineers, platform architects, and stakeholders to translate operational needs into executable system architectures and integrated technical solutions

Requirements:

  • BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5 (Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of relevant systems engineering experience, with demonstrated PNT integration exposure
  • Knowledge of existing PNT solutions, GPS/GNSS technologies, and APNT capabilities
  • Experience integrating PNT technologies across diverse platforms (ground, air, maritime, space, or joint systems)
  • Understanding of mission engineering concepts and their application to PNT and multi-domain operations
  • Proficiency with MBSE tools and methodologies (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, SysML, UPDM/UAF)
  • Experience developing PACE plans and resilient architecture strategies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
