Job Description

We’re looking for a part‑time PMO Officer to support the smooth running of our project delivery and reporting framework. This role plays a key part in ensuring that project data is accurate, forecasts are reliable, and the business has the insight it needs to make good decisions. Working closely with Project Managers, delivery leads and senior stakeholders, you’ll help ensure projects are well planned, well governed and transparently reported. This is a 4‑hours‑per‑day role across 5 days, with 3 office‑based days per week to support close collaboration with the delivery team.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the day‑to‑day operation of the PMO across multiple client projects
  • Acting as the owner of project data, ensuring it is accurate, current and aligned across systems
  • Ensuring every project has a clearly defined baseline plan and forecast
  • Maintaining project plans with weekly updates for % complete and spend
  • Tracking and reporting project progress, cost and schedule performance
  • Ensuring timesheet data is accurate, complete and submitted on time
  • Identifying and escalating cost and schedule variances
  • Producing an accurate rolling 3‑month revenue and resource forecast, updated weekly
  • Ensuring resources are correctly allocated to projects
  • Providing clear reporting to support planning, prioritisation and decision‑making
  • Coordinating governance activities including meetings, actions and documentation
  • Supporting continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates and reporting

Requirements

  • Experience in a PMO, project coordination or project support role
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers, plans and forecasts
  • Comfortable managing and interpreting project data and reporting
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel and related reporting tools
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to raise issues early
  • A structured, proactive approach to work
  • Able to manage priorities effectively

Nice to have

  • Experience in a technology or software delivery environment
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery models
  • Experience working in consultancy or professional services
