Job Description

FinXL is currently seeking a highly organized and proactive PMO Lead for a 6-month initial contract. This pivotal role focuses on operational project management, ensuring that strategic programs have the necessary resources, financial oversight, and vendor support to succeed. As the PMO Lead, you will act as the operational engine for the program, working closely with the Program Director and Delivery Program Manager. You will be responsible for 'unblocking' pre-discovery tasks and implementing solutions that ensure seamless project launches and ongoing management.

Job Responsibility

  • Financial & Budget Oversight: Monitor and manage project budgets, including forecasting, variance analysis, and performance-based reporting to stakeholders
  • Recruitment & Resource Management: Facilitate the recruitment process to ensure timely hiring in alignment with project requirements, and oversee timesheet reconciliation for accurate billing
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Develop strong vendor relationships, manage contractual obligations, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance and alignment with program goals
  • Procurement Management: Oversee procurement processes to ensure cost-effective purchasing and supply chain management
  • Project Support: Collaborate with delivery leadership to facilitate the implementation of new initiatives and resolve roadblocks during the pre-discovery phase
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency-driven process improvements to enhance the overall effectiveness of the project team
