The PMO Lead is responsible for establishing and leading the Project Management Office for large-scale Telecom Infrastructure projects involving OFC network rollout, tower erection, and telecom equipment installation. The role ensures project governance, schedule adherence, resource alignment, and data-driven reporting to achieve project delivery targets in cost, quality, and time.
Job Responsibility:
PMO Governance & Framework: Develop and implement project management methodologies, templates, and reporting systems
Establish project baselines – scope, schedule, cost, and quality metrics
Monitor adherence to approved project plans and ensure corrective actions for deviations
Drive risk management, change control, and issue resolution mechanisms
Planning & Scheduling: Consolidate and monitor master schedules for OFC, tower, and telecom activities
Integrate regional execution plans into a unified national dashboard
Work with planning and field teams to track daily/weekly progress and forecast delays
Review project milestones against contractual deliverables and customer SLAs
Project Monitoring & Reporting: Develop centralized monitoring dashboards (Power BI / Primavera / MS Project / Excel)
Publish periodic progress reports (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) highlighting physical and financial progress, KPIs, and bottlenecks
Manage performance reviews with site teams, contractors, and management
Maintain visibility on key performance indicators like tower readiness, OFC laid vs planned, and material delivery status
Coordination & Communication: Act as a single point of coordination between engineering, procurement (SCM), construction, quality, and finance teams
Conduct project review meetings with internal and client stakeholders
Facilitate information flow from site teams to corporate management and client PMUs
