Assurit is currently seeking an experienced PMO Analyst (Communications) to support one of our clients. About the Role: Assurit is seeking a highly organized and proactive PMO Analyst (Communications) to support program and project success through effective communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. This role plays a critical part in ensuring alignment across project teams and leadership by managing information flow, facilitating governance activities, and delivering clear, actionable insights throughout the project lifecycle. This position is ideal for professionals with experience supporting program or project management offices (PMOs), particularly in DoD or federal environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute project communication plans to ensure stakeholders remain informed and aligned
  • Prepare and maintain status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings
  • Facilitate governance meetings, working groups, and stakeholder workshops
  • Maintain and organize project documentation in accordance with organizational standards
  • Track and analyze project performance metrics, identifying risks, trends, and issues
  • Support project managers and program leadership with reporting, coordination, and communications
  • Serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information flow
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives within the PMO environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4–7 years of experience supporting project management, PMO operations, or business transformation initiatives
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and executive-level communications
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and coordination across multiple teams
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, and/or project management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance (required)

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting DoD or federal government programs
  • Familiarity with PMO governance processes and frameworks
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms
  • PMP, CAPM, or related certification (or working toward certification)
