Job Responsibility:

  • Supply excellent site technical service &instruction support that could benefit from company products and services
  • Maximize customer potential in his/her region
  • Travel to visit potential clients
  • Establish new and maintain existing long-term rapports with customers
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements - listen to clients and use astute questioning to understand, anticipate and exceed their needs
  • Persuade clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
  • Meet regular service targets
  • Record and maintain client contact data
  • Ensure that all the trade is done according to the local and Finnish laws
  • All the other items as specified by Country Sales Manager or General Manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
  • equivalent Paper Mill experience
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • PC Knowledge
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Deep knowledge of papermaking process, paper machinery, design and manufacturing

  • Follow up the inventory and secure sufficient stock of fabrics at the mill in cooperation with customer representatives and Valmet product sales manager/engineer
  • Attend every shut down/start up and visually inspect Valmet fabrics prior to installation to make sure the clothing is correct and worth installing.
