Job Description

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our dynamic Security team as Security Officer-PM Shift. The Security Officer is a vital member of our Security team who is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for the employees and in which guests can relax and/or conduct business. This department establishes, promotes and maintains the hotel's security and property protection. The Security Team is available 24-hours a day. The Security Officer actively participates in the day-to-day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for the employees and in which guests can relax and/or conduct business

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security detail experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • CPR and First-Aid certification
  • Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job
  • knowledge of Opera, Microsoft Office Suite, and HotSOS preferred/is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs
