Job Description:

We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated PM Operations Supervisor to join our team at our depot in Bundamba! As our PM Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient unloading of linehaul trailers and containers, and the effective unloading of PUD vehicles.

Job Responsibility:

Maximise Efficiency: Ensure trailers and units are loaded to full capacity, distribute freight accurately, and oversee all unloading activities
Collaborate and Support: Work closely with the Depot Manager to address concerns related to revenue, loads, and site operations
Lead and Guide: Supervise PM Forklift Operators, Receiving Officers and General Hands, focusing on safety, scanning accuracy, and minimising freight damage
Monitor and Report: Keep a keen eye on revenue, load accuracy, costs, and service issues, and work towards providing effective solutions
Ensure Compliance: Maintain safe load procedures, adherence to Chain of Responsibility, and ensure equipment and resource efficiency

Requirements:

Proven supervisory experience within the freight industry
Current and valid Forklift Licence (LF)
Strong judgment skills with the ability to make firm and fair decisions
Excellent communication and people management skills
Ability to achieve KPIs and targets, with a customer-centric approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good time management skills
