This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for managing technician performance, driving revenue growth, maintaining healthy margins, and providing deep technical support to the field. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert with strong residential service plumbing experience and proven success leading and scaling teams in a growth-focused environment.
Job Responsibility:
Manage, coach, and support approximately 15 plumbing services and install technicians
Provide hands-on technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field technicians
Conduct regular team huddles, safety meetings, and one-on-one check-ins
Hold technicians accountable to performance, quality, and customer service standards
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and developing technicians as the company grows
Oversee daily service and install operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
Manage technician productivity, performance metrics, and KPIs
Monitor labor and material costs to maintain target gross margins
Utilize ServiceTitan and reporting tools to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Play a key role in scaling the business from approximately with by driving revenue
Support pricing strategies, job costing, and margin management
Contribute to departmental planning and operational improvements to support growth
Ensure high-quality workmanship and a consistent customer experience
Assist with escalated service issues and complex technical situations
Reinforce company standards, safety practices, and residential service best practices
Requirements:
5+ years of plumbing experience with strong residential service expertise
Prior management or leadership experience in a plumbing service environment
Deep technical plumbing knowledge (non-negotiable)
Proven ability to manage and scale teams effectively
Strong understanding of service operations, metrics, and margin management
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Nice to have:
Experience using ServiceTitan (strongly preferred)
Service and sales experience in a residential plumbing environment
Experience managing both service and install technicians
Bilingual (Spanish/English a plus, not required)
