Plumbing operative

• Provide an effective plumbing maintenance service
• Provide an effective, right first time Plumbing maintenance service, including repair, refurbishment, and new installation
• Install or repair components like baths, toilets, showers, sinks, and cold water tanks, including making good tiling/boxing/panels
• Effectively diagnose and repair all leaks (including hidden ones), and make good any boxing and tiling
• Repair, replace, or clear blockages in all types of domestic drainage systems
• Effectively maintain, make safe, and install vented or unvented cylinders
• Repair, replace, or add to existing domestic hot/cold water systems (including solid fuel), such as radiator renewal, mixer taps, and pump replacement
• Repair, maintain, or replace rainwater goods

• Minimum of 1-year experience after trade training as a Plumber or proven long-term experience
• Qualification or proven long-term experience in more than one building trades
• A full UK driving license
• Ability to take part in the Out of Hours standby rota

• Experience in a wide range of building related matters
• Experience of working in occupied properties
