Job Responsibility:

Understand basic plumbing theory/calculations, plumbing system components and devices
Have the ability to comprehend and implement inputs and direction from the project engineer
Apply Revit, AutoCAD, word processing/spreadsheet and other basic software to support project designs
Knowledge of codes, standards, and best practices with the ability to apply them within the plumbing design
Be able to develop and draft domestic water and sanitary plans, riser diagrams and schedules
Understand the components of the mechanical, electrical and fire protection systems that will impact the design and be able to coordinate those discipline requirements into the plumbing design
Take personal ownership of the work produced

Requirements:

Vocation school, military training, college degree, field experience, proven relevant technical experience
Experience working in a professional A/E office, Consulting Firm, Construction Contractor, or equivalent
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, word processing/spreadsheet and other basic software
Strong written, verbal and communication skills with the ability to participate in a collaborative team environment
