We are currently recruiting for a Plumbing Assessor to join East Sussex College Group - one of the largest providers of Apprenticeships in the Southeast and a leading Further Education college.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering high-quality assessment and support to Plumbing Installation learners across a range of programmes
  • Teaching and assessing both theory and practical elements, including online delivery where appropriate
  • Building strong relationships with employers and learners to ensure timely achievement of qualifications
  • Managing a caseload of learners and maintaining accurate records in line with ESFA and college requirements

Requirements:

  • Plumbing Installation qualifications and occupational competence at minimum Level 3 (Level 5 desirable)
  • A TAQA Assessor qualification (or equivalent: A1/D32/D33)
  • IQA qualification desirable
  • Experience in work-based assessment and working with learners 1:1 or in small groups
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, and IT skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and travel as required
