Plumber

• Carry out both routine and non-routine work activities across mechanical and plumbing services
• Undertake new works, repairs, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical, heating, hot and cold water plant, equipment, and associated services
• Respond efficiently to reactive maintenance requests, minor installations, and weekly PPM schedules
• Escort and supervise external contractors during inspections, servicing, and installation works
• Maintain accurate tool lists, maintenance records, and documentation
• Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety, Security Regulations, and Trust policies and procedures
• Work to agreed deadlines and support service delivery across multiple London sites as required
• Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota when required

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Services
• Specialisation in a mechanical discipline such as Gas, Refrigeration, or Heat Pumps
• Water Safety Training (essential)
• Proven experience working with mechanical, ventilation, and/or gas installations and maintenance
• Previous experience within an NHS or healthcare environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to changing operational demands
• Computer literate, with experience using CAFM or maintenance systems desirable
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines
• Own tools and PPE
• Full UK driving licence (manual)
• Satisfactory attendance and flexibility to work across London-based sites
