Known for their delivery in the major construction space, they hold long term contracts with state government departments and global corporate partners. This is an organisation defined by its deep industry roots and its commitment to the critical infrastructure that powers our state. Permanent Full Time Plumbers wanted across multiple South Australian Sites.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the construction of commercial & government sites
  • Installing and maintaining water mains and reticulation systems
  • Oversee the laying of underground services (storm water, sewer, and fire services)
  • Managing complex drainage and sewerage solutions for government and public utility projects
  • Working in large team environments to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Support the business by training the next generation of tradespeople

Requirements:

  • South Australian licensed plumber with proven experience
  • White Card, Working @ heights, NPC & WWCC
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Ability to pass regular D&A screenings

  • Possesses a strong familiarity with plumbing codes, both nationally and locally
  • Position, align, cut, join and fuse pipes together using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering sealants or welding equipment
  • Measure distances, set elevations and install pipe to grade as defined in drawings and specifications
  • Practices preventive maintenance of plumbing tools and equipment
  • Procures materials, tools and rental equipment at specified times to conform to work schedules
  • Confers with supervisory personnel, owners, engineers, contractors, inspectors, material suppliers and/or equipment dealers to resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints or construction problems
