Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumber to support our busy Bathroom POD and Utility Cupboard production lines. Step away from the tools and into a leadership role. This role focuses on scaling manufacturing quality through training, benchmark setting, and technical problem-solving.

Job Responsibility

  • Resolve real-time plumbing and technical assembly challenges on the production floor
  • Create, validate, and document first-off benchmark for production
  • Upskill assembly operators on standard plumbing techniques and quality expectations
  • Collaborate with engineering to optimize pipework layouts and assembly methods
  • Inspect completed POD/PUC units against technical drawings and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent recognized trade qualification
  • Proven track record in commercial plumbing, mechanical assembly, or modular manufacturing
  • Reading technical drawings, copper/plastic pipework fabrication, soldering, and crimping systems
  • Clear communication style suitable for coaching and training frontline staff
  • Strong analytical approach to diagnosing and fixing mechanical production bottlenecks
