Job Description:

Ganymede Energy is currently recruiting a plumber / surveyor across Bedforshire and the surrounding area to join a well-established organisation on a full-time, permanent basis. The company is committed to driving the transition to Net Zero by making sustainability straightforward, accessible, and cost-effective.

Job Responsibility:

  • To survey sites, complete survey reports and estimate the cost of the job
  • To carry out the retrofit installation of various washroom appliances
  • To carry out first and second fix plumbing works as required on installation projects
  • To carry out maintenance visits to client sites
  • To produce engineer reports detailing works carried out
  • To manage van stock and keep levels optimal for effective execution of site work
  • Out of hours work will be required to suit client sites

Requirements:

  • Plumbing industry work (essential)
  • Plumbing: must have successfully completed a plumbing apprenticeship & hold as minimum a relevant City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Plumbing qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ post-apprenticeship experience

Nice to have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing is preferred
  • Water efficiency work & Building / construction work (desirable)
  • JIB CSCS card is preferred
  • Any project management / site supervision experience is preferred
