Job Description:

Our client is a well-established building and maintenance company; due to their expansion they are looking for experienced Plumber multi traders to join the team in the Portsmouth area. You will be carrying out work on a social housing contract, re-active maintenance, planned works, van and fuel card supplied.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carrying out work on a social housing contract
  • Reactive maintenance
  • Planned works
  • Working in the Social Housing sector / domestic properties within the Portsmouth area

Requirements:

  • Must live within a 20-mile radius of Portsmouth
  • Must have Plumbing as one of their main trades
  • Must have extensive knowledge in 1st / 2nd fix carpentry, kitchen installations, bathroom installations, repairing minor leaks, replacing sanitary wear, ceramic wall tiling, vinyl floor, tiling, 1st / 2nd fix plumbing, painting & decorating
  • Must be able to solder
  • Must be prepared to work with non-licenced asbestos removal (where full training will be given)
  • Must have experience in external works
  • A DBS check will be carried out if successful
  • Must have the ability to deal with voids
  • Must have excellent material knowledge
  • Must be able to work on your own / manage your day to day works
  • Must be able to liaise with your supervisor
  • Must be able to work with other trades when need be
  • Must keep van clean and tidy at all times
  • Must have a clean driving license
  • Must provide 2 x sources of references
  • Experience within Social housing – Essential
