Job Description:

The Plumber is responsible for all aspects of installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of plumbing systems in assigned locations(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers
  • Anticipates and responds to customer needs
  • Inspects assigned areas on a routine basis and performs maintenance where necessary to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition
  • Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedure
  • Repair and maintain plumbing, replacing defective washers, replace or mend broken pipes and open clogged drains
  • Reports on any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years’ experience and knowledge in repair and general maintenance of plumbing required
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
