Job Description

PLM Solutions Architect is a key role in driving digital transformation, collaboration, and efficiency across complex, long‑life aerospace programs, bridging business needs with technical solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and maintain PLM solution architectures aligned with Aerospace & Defense standards and regulatory requirements
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and engineering stakeholders on PLM-related topics
  • Translate business needs into PLM solutions bringing value to the business
  • Lead or support PLM maintenance, upgrade, and integration initiatives
  • Drive requirements management, solution design, and architectural decision-making
  • Ensure integration of PLM with surrounding systems (ERP, MES, CAD, simulation)
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. AS/EN9100, ITAR, export control)
  • Provide technical leadership, documentation, and architectural guidance

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a PLM Solution Architect, PLM Consultant, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with one or more major PLM platforms (for example: Teamcenter, NX, SMW, SC3D, TCRA, TC Quality)
  • Experience in configuration and architecture of servers and performance for multi-site environments
  • Solid understanding of Product Lifecycle Management concepts, Configuration & change management, Requirements management and Product structures and BOM
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have

  • Experience within Aerospace & Defense or other regulated industries
  • Knowledge of MBSE, CAD integrations, or enterprise architecture frameworks
  • Understanding of cybersecurity, data classification, and export control
