Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Application Administrator to join our team and manage the Siemens Teamcenter application. As an Application Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the infrastructure of the Siemens Teamcenter application, ensuring its smooth operation and performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining the Siemens Teamcenter application and its related infrastructure components
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting system performance issues, ensuring high availability and reliability
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements
  • Developing and maintaining system documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Providing technical support and assistance to end users and resolving system-related issues
  • Implementing security measures and best practices to protect the integrity of the system and its data
  • Contributing to projects for Siemens Teamcenter continuous application development by taking over responsibility for defined project work packages (e.g. research and innovation, process automation, application testing)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (min 2 years) as a PLM Application Administrator, preferable with the Siemens Teamcenter application knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of system infrastructure components such as servers, storage, and networking
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools for system administration
  • Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Open minded, positive and solution oriented communication towards internal customers and end users
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Proficiency in English in written and verbal communication (min. B2), German will be an asset
