Job Responsibility

  • Perform Control System inspections of electromechanical equipment/rotating equipment with Clients and client-designated representatives
  • Lead and/or assist customers with Electrical and/or Instrumentation requirements (space, labor requirements, tools, disposal of test water, etc..) to support commissioning activities, operational/startup spares and Operating and Maintenance Practices
  • Participated in Customer Factory Acceptance Tests and related Control Systems reviews
  • Perform on-site programming for control systems and assist on electrical installation and troubleshooting
  • Work closely with Automation and E&I Leaders regarding project execution and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 2-10 years of experience with PLCs
  • Software/Hardware PLC programming experience preferred
  • Rockwell Automation systems including but not limited to Smart MCC, VFD, ControlLogix PLC Platform, Factory Talk SE, etc.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license

Nice to have

  • Experience in Commissioning, Construction or Services
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College
  • Familiarity with setup, installation, configuration, calibration and/or maintenance of instrumentation used in water treatment processes
  • Oil and Gas experience
  • Electrical experience and know-how (hands on, reading and interpreting drawings, etc.), particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment
  • Ability to plan multiple priorities and focus on the most important ones
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new problems, clients, and situations
  • Training in Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures preferred
