We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to join our team at Percivon Technologies. As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PLC programs to ensure efficient and reliable operation of industrial machinery. This is a mid-level position requiring 3 to 5 years of experience. The job is based in Navi Mumbai / Pune India and is a full-time employment opportunity.
Job Responsibility:
Designing and developing PLC programs to control industrial machinery and optimize its performance
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand the automation requirements and translating them into technical specifications
Modifying and troubleshooting existing PLC programs to improve functionality and address issues
Configuring and integrating peripheral devices such as sensors, actuators, and HMIs with PLC systems
Testing and validating PLC programs to ensure they meet the specified requirements and performance standards
Documenting the PLC programs, including program logic, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting guides
Providing technical support to the maintenance and operations teams for PLC-related issues
Staying updated with the latest advancements in PLC technology and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent to it
3 to 5 years of experience in PLC programming
Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and functional block diagram
Thorough Knowledge on Tag Management, Screen Management, Alarm Management, User Management and Multi Language Translation
Experience in implementation and management of SCADA packages
Hands-on experience with PLC software and hardware, including programming software and PLC controllers
Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems, electrical circuits, and control systems
Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good presentation teamwork
Effective written and oral communication skills
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Work effectively with people at all organizational levels
