We are seeking a passionate and skilled Platform Support Engineer to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and support of our platform, providing solutions to our global customers with minimal impact and within SLA. This role requires a proactive individual with strong fundamentals in network and system administration, a willingness to learn and implement new technologies, and a collaborative spirit.
Job Responsibility:
Manage global operational support and troubleshooting, ensuring resolutions are delivered within SLA and minimizing client impact
continuously enhance existing processes by integrating new technologies
adjust automation scripts to streamline daily work processes
collaborate effectively with team members, fostering a spirit of teamwork and assisting co-workers as needed
utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address issues and enhance platform performance
report bugs and performance-related issues for future improvement
maintain up-to-date documentation of solutions for knowledge transfer and enhanced customer support
undertake ad-hoc assignments as required.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Linux scripting (Bash, basic understanding of Python)
experience with cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) and deployment/configuration automation (Jenkins Pipeline)
familiarity with continuous integration, deployment, and delivery practices
understanding of databases (e.g., Flexible Server PostgreSQL, Synapse Pools) and application logging tools (Elasticsearch)
experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace) and distributed systems (e.g., Spark)
knowledge of messaging-based systems (e.g., Kafka) and data science tooling (e.g., Jupyterhub, R-Studio)
expertise in UI-Path Robotics & Automation and Informatica (IDMC) full tools stack
proficient with common agile working tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git)
demonstrates a DevOps mindset, taking responsibility for building and running applications
fluent in English (written and spoken)
team player with the ability to work in flexible and service-oriented environments
experience in ITIL organizations and KPI-driven environments (e.g., ServiceNow)
strong customer orientation and focus.
Nice to have:
Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
