Job Description

We are seeking a Platform Specialist who will configure, optimise, and maintain digital platforms used across the organisation. The individual will support platform reliability, data accuracy, and integration of third‑party applications, while helping translate business needs into effective technical solutions. This role partners with cross-functional teams, ensuring that digital platforms operate efficiently and continue to support evolving business processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Configure and manage platform components including user permissions, workflows, data structures, and integrations
  • Apply and maintain configuration standards to ensure consistency and operational efficiency
  • Monitor and enhance platform performance by identifying and resolving issues and applying best practices
  • Conduct periodic configuration audits to ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and alignment with business objectives
  • Integrate third‑party tools and services to extend platform capabilities and support new requirements
  • Customise platform features to adapt to process changes or introduce new functionalities
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams on testing scenarios and participate in platform testing
  • Document all configurations, updates, and customisations for audit and operational continuity
  • Provide training and guidance to users and support teams on new features, updates, or best practices
  • Work closely with IT, operations, and customer support teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions
  • Comply with Internal Regulations and occupational health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of databases and information systems
  • Experience with integrations, APIs, scripting, or database management
  • Background in integrated information systems
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in Information Technology
  • 1 year in a similar platform or system engineering role is preferred
  • Innovative, conceptual, and forward‑thinking mindset
  • Effective communication, decision‑making, coordination, and negotiation skills
  • Holds Technical University Studies (technical degree)
  • Able to carry out work in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and internal standards
