Job Description:

The Platform Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining a Domain-level program plan that integrate milestones, dependencies, and risk management strategies across multiple projects to achieve objectives within Marriott’s Reservations Domain. The Platform Manager will also be accountable for managing budgets and functioning as a lead in coordinating with Marriott’s strategic Central Reservation System (CRS) partner, Amadeus.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program-level plan in the Reservations Domain that includes milestone tracking, dependency management, and risk identification and mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate with multiple project leads to ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation
  • Facilitate regular program status meetings and provide transparent reporting to stakeholders
  • Own the financial planning for assigned Initiatives
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and actuals to ensure financial targets are met
  • Provide financial transparency and reporting to leadership
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and external vendors in support of Amadeus
  • Ensure vendor deliverables align with program requirements and timelines
  • Develop and maintain vendor processes
  • Oversight on KPIs/SLAs and Service Quality
  • Supports Amadeus key activities and timelines in supporting of integrations to xPMS
  • Supports Production Incident Management resolution, reporting and processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
  • 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or program-level role
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cost controls
  • Expertise in program planning tools (e.g., Smartsheet, PowerBI, JIRA, ServiceNOW) and risk management frameworks
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
