Platform Manager for Integration Services in the Technology and Platform organisation at Inter IKEA, responsible for building a modern and scalable technology foundation and enabling safe, reliable, and sustainable experiences across IKEA.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for the integration development capability that connect systems and data across IKEA
Define and deliver a high-quality integration service
Drive performance and remove friction
Foster a Platform-as-a-Product mindset
Provide service ranging from development and operations of integrations to providing self-service and sharing best practices
Nurture and share understanding of the integration landscape
Drive modernisation towards a simple integration landscape where data is shared through events and APIs
Connect business needs with platform capabilities
Communicate roadmaps and plans
Foster strong DevOps practices, automation and developer experience
Lead people and grow high-performing, curious teams
Handle competence development, succession planning, and innovation
Take responsibility for budget planning, cost monitoring, and optimising spend
Requirements:
Technical depth with architecture and service delivery
Understanding of end-to-end digital product development
Experience with enterprise integration patterns for event-driven architecture, API Management and data replication
Knowledge of frameworks like ITIL for IT service operations
Experience with agile frameworks, scaled delivery models, using metrics and OKRs
Understanding of technology ecosystems with platforms and architecture across cloud and on-prem environments, including DevOps, automation and modern software engineering principles
Understanding of how IKEA works as a franchise system and strategic direction
Budget awareness, cost optimisation and strong organisational skills
Ability to translate complex technical topics into simple business language
Ability to lead transformation in fast-changing or ambiguous situations
Communication, collaboration and relationship building with technical and non-technical stakeholders
