Job Description

iCapital is looking for a talented Assistant Vice President to join the APAC Platform Solutions team in Singapore. The role encompasses supporting multiple projects focused on technical implementation and client delivery, while also addressing the technical and operational needs of all platform offerings. Additionally, you will identify and support the development of custom features for new partners, including designing and implementing unique platform features. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage client facing project delivery. The ideal candidate combines these capabilities with a passion for learning and growth, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Defining and supporting client workflows and use cases: Conduct client session in product demonstration, workflow design and process definition
  • Define test case and manage roll out of UAT and Production environment for successful client onboarding
  • Managing technical implementation and configurations to achieve client business outcomes and target operating model: Gather and translate business and functional requirements into platform configurations to answer client needs
  • Manage SSO, SFTP and ETL setups, ensuring secure and efficient data transfer
  • Data Integration & Data Analysis: Work with complex data models and large datasets to support client integration and reporting needs
  • Validate and transform data from multiple sources (including CSV flat files) to ensure accuracy and completeness: Define and implement basic ETL pipelines
  • Generate custom client reports based on aggregated data and business requirements
  • Project Management & Coordination: Monitor milestones, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple workstream to ensure timely delivery
  • Prepare project status reports, meeting notes and task tracker for progress visibility and alignment with internal & external stakeholders
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, specifications and integration processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure compliance
  • Developing deep platform expertise and driving continuous improvement: Learn and support all interfaces on the iCapital platform
  • Proactively identify issues and areas for improvement from a business to technical view
  • Collaborating with senior management to engage new opportunities and strategic initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technology/data field
  • 6+ years of work experience in business integration, project technology implementation, ideally with client-facing solution delivery and a strong client-centric mindset
  • Experience with technical platform integration in the Financial Services, wealth or asset management experience is preferred
  • Expertise in data integration fundamentals (SQL, ETL, API) is preferable, with strong aptitude to learn and grow in these areas
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills with ability to articulate business process, technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audience
  • Proven ability to manage projects in fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities and engaging diverse client stakeholders with strong attention to detail, leveraging project management and collaboration tools to drive efficiency and transparency
  • Experience of working in an agile environment where you have responsed quickly to changing business needs
  • Strong work ethic and a high degree of accountability and a proactive mindset with curiosity to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new business operations, processes, and procedures
  • Demonstrate initiative, passion, and strong problem-solving skills, with a willingness to roll up one's sleeves, get the job done, and a desire to grow in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
  • Fluency in English is a must
