Job Description:

Join Ericsson as an IT Security Professional and play a crucial role in safeguarding our information assets accessed through the IT environment. You will contribute to our solid defense by providing security operations, expertise, support and solutions based on the IT Security Requirement, ensuring compliances with internal/external requirements, laws, regulations and standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Install and maintain all Linux server(hardware and software systems) and administer all server performance and ensure availability
  • Maintain all system backup
  • Monitor everyday systems and availability of all server resources and perform all activities for Linux servers
  • Assist to configure and deploy all virtual machines and install and provide backup to all configuration procedures
  • Maintain and monitor all patch releases
  • Do all the supporting tasks that are included, but not limited to code deployment, managing source control systems, virtual servers, scripting, etc.
  • Be involved in writing and modifying scripts for application deployments as well as system monitoring
  • Be involved in developing and overseeing the backup, replication, clustering and fail over strategies

Requirements:

  • Linux administrator with minimum 5+ years of experience
  • Must be flexible to work in 24*7 environments
  • Hands-on experience on Linux Maintenance/Troubleshooting: RHEL, CentOS, Solaris
  • Hands-on experience on Virtualization: Designing and Implementing ESX/ESXI, Vcenter, Vmotion host/storage, DRS Host/Storage, HA, FT, VDS, Nic teaming
  • Storage: SAN/NAS basic knowledge
  • Linux Networking: DNS:/bind/named, radius, routing
  • Linux Logging Server: syslog-ng with keepalive
  • Linux firewalls: IPtables/CSF/FIREWALLD
  • Linux Web Servers: Apache, NGINX, Lighttpd, Tomcat
  • Database: Mysql, Postgres
  • Linux Automation: Ansible, Puppet, Perl/Shell/Python/expect/AWK Scripting, Patch management
  • Educational Qualification: B. Tech/B.E /MCA/BCA
