Outpost24 is hiring a Platform Engineer to join our growing team in Sweden (Karlskrona or Stockholm), or Belgium (Leuven)! Do you take pride in designing, implementing and operating scalable and resilient infrastructure? Do you want to be a key contributor to our success in building the next generation of our platform? Then we are great match! We are looking for someone that burn for monitoring and observability. In this role you will strengthen our team with your expertise in those areas.

Job Responsibility:

  • Setup and maintain our monitoring and Observability platforms
  • Continuously improve monitoring to highlight actual issues in complex dependency chains while tuning out noise and catching both long term trends and service degradation as well as high priority incidents
  • Setup and maintain Kubernetes applications and service dependencies
  • Be willing to learn from others, as well as share your knowledge and expertise
  • Identify and troubleshoot operational and performance issues
  • Work with other aspects of our operating environment

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge in Elastic Search and Kibana both onprem and cloud
  • Experience in infrastructure and services monitoring and alerting
  • Experience in AWS
  • Experience operating Kubernetes environments
  • Experience in running applications and services on Kubernetes
  • Linux knowledge
  • Knowledge in security and PKI
  • Understanding of source control, automated builds and deployments
  • Understanding of GitOps
  • Scripting knowledge (bash/python)
  • You are a team player but are able to work independently
