You will work closely with other talented engineers, architects, and stakeholders to architect, implement, and deliver on our roadmap.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience with public cloud (AWS) and cloud computing concepts
  • Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and experience with at least one programming language, such as TypeScript, React, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go
  • Understanding of test practices regardless of language or tools
  • Basic knowledge of source control, pull requests and automated quality gates using tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, etc
  • Passion for learning and problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and practices is a plus
  • Experience developing and maintaining Backstage, Backstage plugins or integrations for internal developer portals
  • Experience building services using cloud native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, serverless, etc., is a plus
  • Production experience building and operating Kubernetes clusters in public cloud is a plus
  • Experience monitoring infrastructure with tools such as Datadog, Splunk, ELK, etc
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with experience in on-call rotations and incident management
