Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Engineer specializing in the support and infrastructure of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) platforms, specifically UiPath. The successful candidate will develop, maintain, and improve our automation platform infrastructure/services, to enable our customers to develop robust RPA solutions. The platform should ensure high levels of performance, availability, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This position focuses on infrastructure and platform operations rather than developing robots or automation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain a robust and scalable UiPath platform to meet business needs, regulatory requirements, and performance standards, ensuring high availability and reliability
  • implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and integration of RPA platform infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful integration with other Allianz platforms and services
  • ensure compliance with internal standards, security concepts, and operational requirements, engaging with enterprise architecture teams to align strategies with organizational goals and technology roadmaps
  • act as an IT generalist with knowledge across the technology stack, from network infrastructure to application layers, steering topics end-to-end for cost-efficient and operationally reliable solutions
  • identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency without compromising quality or performance, working with tools like Terraform
  • implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, writing and maintaining scripts for automation and system optimization
  • optimize platform infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and compliance with operational requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven hands-on experience in developing and operating platforms, focusing on UiPath or similar software like SAS, Microstrategy, Cognos, Tableau, with expertise in RPA platform best practices and methodologies
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of making data-driven decisions and independently troubleshooting issues, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the IT industry, with extensive experience in large enterprises, understanding their scale, complexities, governance, and compliance requirements
  • familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks, aligning RPA strategies with organizational goals, and broad knowledge across the technology stack, including network infrastructure, servers, storage, databases, middleware, and applications
  • proven ability to steer topics end-to-end, ensuring cost-efficient and operationally reliable solutions with a strong focus on cost optimization and operational efficiency
  • expertise in aligning strategies with organizational goals and technology roadmaps, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
