Are you a Platform Engineer who excels at building high-governance frameworks in complex FinTech environments? We need a specialist to lead a high-priority architectural POC. You will be responsible for designing the "Golden Path" for a migration from legacy to a modern Power Automate ecosystem, orchestrated entirely within Kubernetes. Location: Auckland CBD Term: Initial 2-Month Contract Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days from the office The Opportunity: As a Platform Engineer, you will build the scalable infrastructure and governance models required to support a critical migration. You will ensure that as we transition to Power Automate, the underlying Kubernetes architecture is robust, secure, and fully integrated into our Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Job Responsibility:
Architect the framework for Power Automate runners and agents within Kubernetes
Define the security, compliance, and operational guardrails for the new automation stack
Build and optimize deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps to manage the POC lifecycle
Provide the architectural expertise to move logic into a governed Power Automate environment
Communicate the architectural 'Why' to senior leadership, ensuring the framework is fit for purpose
Requirements:
Valid NZ Work right
Deep expertise in Azure DevOps and Kubernetes orchestration
Power Platform exposure transition from code-heavy framework to integrated automation with Power Automate
Proven ability to create documentation and standards for enterprise-level tools
Experience working in environments where data integrity and security are paramount
