The Platform Network team is responsible for the overall network architecture that supports the Feedzai Cloud delivered to both our customers and internal developers. As part of this team, you'll collaborate with other platform engineers who have deep expertise in our cloud products and environments. Together, you'll help develop the automation, tooling, and platforms that ensure our network infrastructure delivers reliable, secure, and high-performance connectivity for our services. By doing so, you’ll play a key role in enabling faster, more resilient product delivery and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and maintain our existing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) network modules and their underlying components, including the deployment and administration of our Network Hub built on VPCs, Transit Gateway routing, and peering
Help design and implement a cloud-provider-agnostic network infrastructure, ensuring feature parity across providers and enabling connectivity between workloads in different clouds
Design and implement network solutions that guarantee connections are authorized, authenticated, and auditable
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess networking requirements and develop strategic network architecture
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot and resolve network issues, and ensure service reliability, minimal downtime, and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
Build and maintain Kubernetes Operators, including their deployment, monitoring, and day-to-day operations
Contribute to development tasks using Go or similar programming languages
Automate all aspects of cloud infrastructure and incident response processes
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution activities
Work with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor) as part of your daily workflow to ship faster and iterate effectively
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
2+ years of experience in cloud networking, platform engineering, or network infrastructure
In-depth knowledge of VPCs, VNets, Transit Gateways, VPNs, and their configurations with hands on experience
Programming skills in languages such as Go, Java, or similar
Hands-on experience with Container Technologies and Orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar and GitOps tools such as FluxCD or Argo CD
Experience in cloud networking design and deployment with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Knowledge or experience in utilizing monitoring and observability stacks like Grafana and Prometheus
Knowledge or experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices and knowledge or experience in tools like Terraform and Crossplane
Self-driven, motivated, with a strong work ethic, and a passion for creative problem-solving
Nice to have:
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Comfort with AI-augmented development tools (e.g. Cursor)
Kubernetes, Cloud, CCNA or CCNP certifications or equivalent are valued
