Platform Engineer Expert position at Inetum, a European leader in digital services, focusing on data pipeline monitoring, middleware administration, and infrastructure coordination

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor and maintain our data pipeline that processes massive batch data scheduled through Airflow, processed by ETL tools, and loaded into databases
  • Perform regular health checks on middleware components including JBoss, Apache, and Tomcat servers
  • Optimize middleware configurations for performance and stability
  • Manage Linux user permissions, groups, and access rights on RedHat environments
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data verification and troubleshooting
  • Create and manage system tickets for infrastructure changes requiring specialized teams
  • Coordinate with network teams for firewall configuration requests
  • Install and configure components from Linux repositories independently or coordinate with system administrators for restricted installations
  • Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to assist with configuration challenges and troubleshooting
