Job Description:

Platform Engineer Expert position at Inetum, a European leader in digital services, focusing on data pipeline monitoring, middleware administration, and infrastructure coordination

Job Responsibility:

Monitor and maintain our data pipeline that processes massive batch data scheduled through Airflow, processed by ETL tools, and loaded into databases
Perform regular health checks on middleware components including JBoss, Apache, and Tomcat servers
Optimize middleware configurations for performance and stability
Manage Linux user permissions, groups, and access rights on RedHat environments
Write and optimize SQL queries for data verification and troubleshooting
Create and manage system tickets for infrastructure changes requiring specialized teams
Coordinate with network teams for firewall configuration requests
Install and configure components from Linux repositories independently or coordinate with system administrators for restricted installations
Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to assist with configuration challenges and troubleshooting

Requirements:

Strong expertise with data models and data pipelines architecture
Expertise with batch processing systems and scheduling tools like Airflow
Solid expertise of middleware administration (JBoss, Apache, Tomcat)
Linux administration expertise on RedHat environments (user management, permissions)
Advanced SQL querying expertise
Expertise with reverse proxy configurations
Basic networking expertise for firewall and connectivity requirements
Basic expertise with CI/CD pipeline concepts and implementation
Expertise in using AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude for technical problem-solving
Expertise in installing and configuring software components from Linux repositories
Expertise in documenting technical processes and maintaining operational procedures
Expertise with monitoring tools and alert systems
Expertise with performance tuning and optimization
Expertise in DevOps practices
