Job Responsibility:

  • Exemplifies communication skills to confidently interact with internal accountants, and external clients required to successfully on-board clients to Alter Domus
  • Identifying, creating, and executing upon efficient project plans and client facing deliverables
  • Full ownership for project management deliverables. Ensures compliance with best-practices and adapts controls/processes based on results
  • Identifies and escalates risks to key components of the larger business picture (cause/effect correlation). Utilizes critical thinking to problem solve and obtain solutions
  • Engages and resolves issues / concerns / enhancements
  • Exude a ‘can-do’ attitude and be comfortable working amongst moving priorities to meet aggressive deliverable timelines while working both independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred
  • At least 1 year of fund administration, accounting and financial reporting experience in private equity, venture capital, consulting or project management experience
  • Proven experience building client relationships and managing and communicating with demanding clients
  • Portray professionalism, exceptional attention to detail, and a positive attitude
  • Showcase flexibility, adaptability to change, and ability to manage ambiguity
  • Strong project management, organization, communication and teamworking skills to meet deliverable deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Office Knowledge (excel, word, ppt, etc)
  • Interest in learning and mastering new investment concepts and service processes is required
  • Able to excel in a deadline driven, intense environment while maintaining poise and attention to detail

Experience with accounting systems, such as FIS Private Capital Suite (aka Investran) or Allvue Systems an advantage
