Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Platform Data Lead with deep banking data domain expertise and strong regulatory reporting experience. This role sits close to the data within the platform/product, working hands-on with regulated banking data to support reporting, analytics, and downstream consumption. The ideal candidate can both understand complex banking data domains and write SQL when needed to analyze, validate, and support data usage.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and support banking data initiatives within a data platform or product environment
  • Work directly with regulated banking data used for regulatory reporting and business consumption
  • Partner with business, risk, and regulatory teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Support and validate data used in regulatory reports through hands-on data analysis
  • Write SQL as needed to query, analyze, and troubleshoot data issues within the platform
  • Ensure data is modeled and delivered in a way that supports effective end-user consumption

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in banking or financial services data roles
  • Proven experience working directly with banking and regulatory data
  • Ability to bridge business data needs with hands-on technical execution
  • Hands-on experience working with banking data, including: Securities
