Job Description

Are you a skilled Plasterer who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking an experienced tradesperson to join a Social Housing contract in Leeds, specifically supporting a major electrical rewire program. This is a contract role working entirely on void (empty) properties, meaning you can get in, get the job done, and move on to the next plot without the disruption of working around tenants.

Job Responsibility

  • Making good internal walls and ceilings following full electrical rewires (chased walls, socket boxes, and switch points)
  • Carrying out patching, rendering, and full wall/ceiling skimming to a high standard
  • Ensuring void properties are left clean and tidy for the next stage of turn-around
  • Working efficiently to meet strict key-to-key turnaround deadlines for the housing association

Requirements

  • Valid CSCS Card
  • NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (or equivalent time-served experience)
  • Previous experience in social housing, reactive maintenance, or void refurbishments
  • Your own tools and transport to commute between sites in Leeds
  • A reliable, efficient work ethic to keep pace with the electrical rollout
