Job Description

Job Responsibility

Apply coats of plaster to walls, ceilings, and partitions to form fire-resistant and decorative surfaces
Mix plaster to the right consistency using hand or mechanical tools
Apply and smooth plaster using trowels, brushes, or spray guns
Create decorative textures and finishes as required
Repair existing plasterwork and maintain surface finishes to a high standard
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
Collaborate with other tradespeople and ensure timely project delivery

Requirements

Relevant qualification and/or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1 year of relevant plastering experience
Solid understanding of different plastering techniques and finishes
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of different plastering techniques and materials
Good communication and professional attitude

Nice to have

Knowledge of decorative plastering and design are preferential
Knowledge of material purchasing processes is beneficial
