Job Description

The Plant Quality and Food Safety Technician will be responsible for performing chemical, physical, and microbiological analysis, inspecting critical points in the production process and equipment, conducting packaging testing, ensuring production line hygiene, and applying GMP standards while maintaining detailed records and reports.

Job Responsibility

  • Inspect critical production points and equipment
  • Conduct chemical, physical, and microbiological analyses of materials and products
  • Perform packaging tests on finished products
  • Ensure production line hygiene and GMPs/GLPs compliance
  • Record and report test results, including statistical analysis
  • Prepare laboratory reagents and microbiological samples
  • Apply microbiological methods accurately for quality control
  • Maintain knowledge and control of microbiological quality standards
  • Participate in microbiological validation programs
  • Collaborate on production procedures following standards
  • Support ISO Standards Implementation related to Quality, Safety, Environment, and Water

Requirements

  • Food Technology/Science degree (e.g., chemist, microbiologist, chemical engineer)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Good command of English
  • Enthusiastic with leadership and influencing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Effective prioritization and planning skills

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of SAP will be advantageous
  • Previous experience in the food industry will be appreciated
