Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift licensed and preferable Loader ticketed concrete labourer to join our team! As a Forklift and Loader licensed concrete labourer, you will play a crucial role in our operations by efficiently and safely handling materials and equipment within our concrete batching plant.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate forklifts to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including storage areas and equipment
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Operator bagging machine
  • Assist with other duties as needed, including general Labour tasks and plant maintenance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating loaders and forklifts in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Valid certification to operate forklifts and loaders (if required by local regulations)
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to equipment operation
  • Ability to work efficiently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labour and operate equipment for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work overtime, as needed
  • Monday to Friday normal hours
  • Currently High Risk Forklift License
  • Loader Ticket
  • White Card
  • Vocational/Professional Qualification
