Plant Operations Assistant

• Assist the Production Manager with the operating activities of the production unit to achieve planned yields in accordance with the production schedule
• Take a ‘hands-on’ style and apply experience/skills in a best practice approach to plant operations including quality, the environment and asset management

• Strong attention to detail, literacy, and numeracy skills
• Ability to follow batching instructions and operate computer systems
• Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 25kg
• Experience working under GMP or HACCP standards
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
• Forklift licence preferred (training and support provided if not held)
• Comfortable working with 1.0t bulk bags and deep-store racking systems
• Willingness to perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Flexible to work overtime and shift changes during peak season (July–August)
• Able to work collaboratively in a small, close-knit team
• Committed to quality assurance and safe work practices
