Job Responsibility

Monitor and optimise metallurgical performance of the processing plant, including grinding, classification, flotation, and dewatering processes
Provide relevant technical support to production teams across site
Perform field safety interactions, hazard reporting, and critical risk management verifications
Monitor and enhance plant performance through analysis of operational data
Complete metallurgical accounting and report performance against forecasts and budgets
Identify process improvement opportunities and carry out projects to optimise performance, reduce costs, and improve safety
Supervise, support and mentor metallurgists and metallurgical technicians

Job Responsibility

Provide technical knowledge, training, and mentoring for graduate metallurgists, process technicians, metallurgical technicians and other members of the team

Take the necessary actions to ensure that concentrate quality meets contract and target specifications
