Driver’s License (WA C-class or equivalent)
Extensive experience (5+ years) in metallurgy or a related field
Comprehensive working knowledge of mineral processing with heavy media separation
Solid flotation and/or HMS experience i.e.: Nickel, Gold, Copper

Job Responsibility

Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the team
Provide technical guidance, training and coaching to Plant and Graduate Metallurgists
Review and analyse past production performances, compare to budgeted and forecasted specifications and provide suggested improvement options
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Provide mentoring, training, and development opportunities to ensure team effectiveness, accountability, and professional growth
Identify plant improvement opportunities and develop project schedules to adequately evaluate and quantify benefits associated with improvement opportunities
Carry out plant surveys and mass balance to maintain and improve plant performance
