Job Description:

Based at the Coates Eagle Farm branch, you’ll play a key role in keeping our fleet of hire equipment in prime condition and ready for the next customer. This role also includes a relief component, where you’ll support metro branches when required — providing variety, exposure to different teams, and the opportunity to broaden your experience across our network.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing preventative maintenance, servicing and overhaul of a range of plant equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
  • Maintaining accurate records for all service and repair work
  • Minimising operational downtime and ensuring equipment reliability
  • Providing relief support to metro branches as required to assist with operational demand

Requirements:

  • Relevant Trade qualifications
  • Experience with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical skills
  • Drivers licence (preferably MR or HR)
  • Forklift and EWP tickets (beneficial)
  • Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills
