We are looking for an accomplished Plant Manager to lead warehouse-centered plant operations in the Greater Binghamton area. This position is responsible for aligning day-to-day execution with safety, quality, and productivity goals while building a high-performing team culture. The ideal candidate brings strong operational judgment, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to strengthen performance across labor, equipment, and material flow.
Job Responsibility:
Direct plant and warehouse activities to ensure output targets, service expectations, and quality objectives are consistently achieved
Drive operational improvements by evaluating workflows, removing inefficiencies, and introducing practical process enhancements across the facility
Oversee staffing, equipment usage, and material allocation to support efficient production and distribution performance
Enforce adherence to workplace safety requirements, quality procedures, and environmental standards throughout the site
Track and interpret operational metrics to identify trends, improve performance, and support informed business decisions
Build an engaged team environment by coaching supervisors and employees, reinforcing accountability, and promoting ongoing development
Coordinate equipment troubleshooting and maintenance oversight to reduce downtime and maintain reliable plant operations
Requirements:
Proven leadership experience in plant, production, or warehouse operations management
Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, warehouse management, logistics, and distribution processes
Hands-on experience applying lean manufacturing, process improvement, or continuous improvement methods in an operational setting
Ability to manage production planning, quality assurance, and overall plant performance with a data-driven approach
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to support equipment issue resolution and maintenance planning
Demonstrated success leading teams, improving productivity, and maintaining high operational standards
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
