Plant Manager

• Oversee all daily operations for the manufacturing facility in Vaughan, Ontario, including the management of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics
• Execute strategic production scheduling and resource allocation to ensure all installation deadlines and customer targets are met
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean tools such as 5S, Kanban, and SMED to increase OEE and reduce lead times
• Act as a hands-on mentor for Production Supervisors and Team Leads, fostering a high-performance environment through consistent feedback and skill-mapping
• Facilitate root cause analysis using 5 Whys and Ishikawa diagrams to minimize scrap and ensure total process adherence
• Partner with cross-functional departments, including Engineering and Supply Chain, to coordinate CapEx planning and facility layout optimizations

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
• At least 3 years specifically in a Factory Manager or Plant Management capacity
• Proven history of successfully scaling production capacity through Continuous Improvement and Lean methodologies
• Proficiency in utilizing ERP/MES systems for data-driven decision-making and production reporting
• Deep understanding of Canadian OHS legislation and safety compliance
• Communicative leader capable of driving accountability on the shop floor while managing complex multi-functional projects
• A degree or diploma in Engineering, Business Operations, or a related technical field is highly desirable

Experience in glazing or metal fabrication is preferred
