Job Responsibility:
Provides support in functional areas of human resources, including but not limited to payroll, expatriate employee and/or labor relations, benefit enrollment, new hire orientations, new hire administration, expatriate coordination and compensation
Lead salaried recruitment process, responsible for hiring decisions, as required
Key User for Umantis system for site location including duties, but not limited to, main oversight and review of data, analytical report running & review of data to drive business decisions related to any compliance needs
Assists in the development and implementation of Human Resources policies as it relates to payroll and expatriate compensation
Prepares comprehensive payroll reports in conformance with organizational needs
Process bi-weekly hourly and monthly salary hourly payroll
Sign-up new hires (all required forms and benefits)
Prepare labels and create folders for all new hires
Assist in gathering and input of vacation requests, bereavement leave, attendance tracking, and personal time off (PTO) time, etc
Set up and maintain uniform program, matrix for expatriates, trainees, and interns
Track costs of programs (housing, home trips, taxes, automobiles, etc.)
Assist in with scheduling appointments with Social Security, Secretary of State, etc. for expatriates, trainees and interns
Initiate activities to create HIPPA privacy awareness within the organization and implement privacy policies and procedures
Manage training matrix to track training of all hourly production and logistics associates
Monitor and/or track FMLA and LOA hours and time off for employees
Set up or assist in organizing employee events
Other duties assigned by Manager/Supervisor
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field from four-year college or university
Two (2) years minimum experience in office administration and human resources
Adheres to Brose Quality Policy
Considers all valid procedures, job instructions, and organizational instructions
Adheres to all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and implements all necessary measures for work, health, and environmental protection within the range of responsibility
Must acknowledge and abide by all policies and procedures as described in the Brose New Boston Handbook
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Must be able to sit and use hands frequently
Must be able to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear regularly
Must be able to stand and walk frequently
Must occasionally be able to lift 10 pounds
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
